Come chase away those winter blues with Kentucky Music Week’s Winter Dulcimer Weekend, January 8 through 10 at the Quality Inn in Bardstown.  Top name dulcimer and hammered dulcimer artists from across the country offer over ten hours of instruction as well as concerts, open stage opportunities and lots of jams!

Participants sign up by level and instrument.  You may take all mountain dulcimer, all hammered or a combination of both.  Mountain dulcimers are available to rent for the event and beginners are welcome!  All events will be held at the Quality Inn.  Classes begin Friday evening at 7:30 PM, and continue throughout the weekend.   

A concert by all the instructors will be held Saturday evening, beginning at 7:30, at the Quality Inn   This is a great opportunity to hear some of the country’s finest dulcimer and hammered dulcimer musicians.  Cost for the concert is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 years and younger. 

Fee for the entire event, including over ten hours of instruction, concert, jams, etc. is $90.00.
